Below are the main properties of this series:
- Color: white with tint;
- Luminescence: bright blue-green (turquoise);
- Particle size, microns: 25~35;
- Visual assessment of pigment luminosity (max=8): 7;
- Luminescence time, hours: more than 10;
- Water resistant;
Luminophore is a powdered insoluble storage substance capable of converting absorbed light energy into a storage effect of glow in the dark without additional energy sources, lamps and luminaires.
It is used for adding to transparent bases: lacquers (including liquid gel-lacquer for covering nails, for giving accent), glues, epoxy resins, for making slimes. For making fluorescent face paints, for dyeing textiles and fabric, needlework, plastic, creating jewelry, accessories, decor, sealants, plastics, for giving future material or product the property of glow-in-the-dark night glow.
Pigment is added ONLY to the transparent base! A colored pigment in the base will deprive the phosphor of the ability to store energy-charge.
Phosphors need to be charged by any source of light or heat.
Luminescent dyes do not contain phosphorus or its compounds. They are not radioactive and are safe for humans and the environment.
Luminescence brightness of the 10min/60min series, mcd/m2: MHB-5DW: 360 / 58;
Mixing proportions:
- at volumetric pours with epoxy resin - from 100gr to 300 grams of phosphor per 1kg of resin.
- When working with a paint sprayer, 50-100 grams of phosphorus is added to 300 - 350 grams of colorless varnish, resin.
- When painting with a brush, roller or sponge, the composition is made more dense, ie used less varnish.
Excellent as a set for creativity with children, as a gift for a birthday or other holiday.
